WHEN SHOULD I CALL LMR ELDER CARE?

Please feel free to contact LMR Elder Care upon initial admittance to a hospital, new diagnosis or any time a change in life circumstances might warrant outside assessment and guidance.

 

WHAT MAKES LMR ELDER CARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CARE MANAGEMENT COMPANIES?

We have a legal AND a social service background. This is a value-added benefit extended to our clients. We are there to help you understand and evaluate the big picture. We are not just concerned with the “here and now,” but with how the decisions that you make today can have long-term implications and consequences for you and your loved ones.

 

DO YOU HAVE NURSES ON STAFF?

No. Our model is to partner with the client's own health care providers. We believe in supporting our clients by helping them access all of the information that they need to make their own informed health care decisions.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT REFERRAL FEES FROM PROVIDERS OR PLACEMENTS THAT YOU MAKE?

No, we do not. We advocate only for our clients.

 

WHY HIRE LMR ELDER CARE WHEN OTHER AGENCIES PROMISE "FREE" ASSESSMENTS AND PLACEMENTS?

We do not accept referral or placement fees. When people advertise “free” services it is always important to ask how they get paid. We are paid by and advocate for our clients and their families—no one else. This eliminates the appearance of a conflict of interest.

 

I AM ALREADY USING A HOME CARE AGENCY AND THEY OFFER CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES. WHY SHOULD I HIRE AN ELDER CARE ADVOCATE?

Many families prefer having an independent advocate who does not work for the same agency as the home care provider. This is especially valuable when clients need help resolving issues with their paid caregivers.

 

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

We offer different fee structures depending upon whether we are consulting on an hourly basis or providing an on-site assessment. Please call us for additional information.

 

DO YOU OFFER SUPPORT GROUPS OR EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES?

ARE THE SERVICES OF LMR ELDER CARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
